No Toilet Paper in Japan Public Bathrooms? 0

For those who currently traveling or going to travel in Japan, you might be surprised when you enter public bathrooms and cannot find any toilet paper there. Yes, not all public bathrooms in Japan are equipped with toilet paper, although most of them are well equipped. You might find some of those bathrooms without toilet paper inside Japanese government buildings or public transportation buildings.

There are some public bathrooms in Japan which provide tissue vending machine just outside them. The problem is, when you failed to notice this, you might find yourself in trouble inside the bathroom. For example, you might realize that you cannot find any toilet paper inside when you have done using the bathroom.

Japanese people usually bring a packet of tissue paper whenever they are out of their home. This habit can be imitated when you are in Japan to avoid the mistakes having no toilet paper when you use public bathrooms.

In Japan, there are some people who give free packet of tissue with some advertising on it. You can take the tissue and bring it with you, to be prepared just in case you are in an area which only has public bathrooms without toilet paper. It won’t hurt to always be prepared, especially when you are in foreign country.
